It is Dr. Anderson's
hope that the reader will hear within the text of Black Labor,
White Wealth a simple call to action for Black America. Dr.
Anderson hopes that it will help clarify the past for the
purpose of illuminating a path towards a more desirable future.
Although the socioeconomic problems within Black America are
devastating and all indicators show that conditions will worsen,
they are not insurmountable.
Dr. Anderson is
founder and president of The Harvest Institute, a think-tank
whose mission is the social and economic reform of Black
America. A well-known political strategist, businessman,
educator and economic development consultant, Dr. Anderson was a
form official of the Carter Administration. He is a real estate
develop, maintains ownership interest in retail food businesses,
and was among the first African-Americans to own a radio
station. he obtained a Doctorate of Education degree from Wayne
